The general theme of my art has evolved around a strong romantic sense that art is life, and life is art; and that art goes far beyond its physical representation, through its essence arousing the senses to knowledge. I am most interested in the human condition and in our interaction and evolution with the environment. For this reason I have chosen to center most of my work around the human figure. I have discovered that the human figure can eternally be recreated, and therefore function as a symbol for any combination of emotional, psychological, physical, intellectual and spiritual aspects of our existence. In this way the human figure becomes a symbol of humanity and the life force of nature to which I am attuned.
