RELIEF ETCHING

Relief etching is a fast and easy way to make a relief print.  These are small scale prints, with plates made using zinc and acid, and no hand carving.  We’ll supply the paper, plates, and ink, you provide the artistry!  We’ll cover etching a relief intaglio, printing, and some additional techniques such as chine collé, bokashi roll, blind embossing and hand work. Ink, plates, and enough paper and envelopes for 15 cards, bookmarks, bookplates, and other small prints are included.

This workshop is open to beginners or advanced artists.
